Kobe Bryant’s Top 10 Games

As most know by now today is the one year anniversary of the tragic death of Kobe Bryant. Kobe is one of the biggest names in the history of basketball as well as one of the best players. In honor of Kobe I wanted to do something that takes your mind and puts it on the positive things that Kobe did and that was dominate on the basketball court. It’s damn near impossible to narrow it down to just Kobe’s 10 best games, but I’m going to try to. If you all have games you enjoyed, different games, or thought they were greater feel free to comment at the bottom of the page. This top ten is out of respect for Kobe so I ask you all be respectful as well. Here we go!

10.) May 19, 2001 vs San Antonio Spurs, Western Conference Finals Game 1

45 points and 10 rebounds

9.) December 21, 2000 vs Houston Rockets

45 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 20-of-26 shooting, 1-of-1 three-pointers, 4-of-6 free throws

8.) May 13, 2001 vs Sacramento Kings

48 points, 16 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, 15-of-29 shooting, 1-of-1 three-pointers, 17-of-19 free throws

7.) January 7th, 2003 vs Seattle SuperSonics

 45 points, three assists, and three rebounds with a record 12 threes made in the game

6.) March 16, 2007 vs Portland Trail Blazers

65 points shooting 23-of-39, including 11-of-12 from the free throw line, while he also made eight three-pointers

5.)  December 20, 2005 vs the Dallas Mavericks

Scored 62 points in three quarters and didn’t play in the 4th quarter

4.) February 2, 2009 vs New York Knicks

61 points, 19-of-31 FG, 20-of-20 from free throw line

3.) January. 22nd, 2006 vs Toronto Raptors

81 pts, 28-46 FG, 7-13 3FG, 18-20 FT

2.) March 28, 2003 vs Washington Wizards- Michael Jordan passes torch game

55 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 15-of-29 shooting, 9-of-13 three-pointers, 16-of-18 free throws

1.) April 13, 2016 vs Utah Jazz- Kobe’s Final Game

60 points and scored 17 straight to help Lakers win in his final NBA game
