Fresh of a terrible 8-7 week my record for the year is now 79-43. I need to improve this week luckily there are some games that I deem easy picks. Let’s see what happens!
Thursday Night Football Game
New York Jets (2-5) @ Indianapolis Colts (3-5)
Even though the Jets beat the Bengals I still refuse to pick them. I just need Jets RB Michael Carter to get me some points. Rolling with the Colts.
Winner: Colts 30-20
Early Sunday Football Games
Cleveland Browns (4-4) @ Cincinnati Bengals (5-3)
I hate what I’m seeing from Cleveland right now and this is a must win game for them, in my opinion. The Bengals are fresh off a loss to the Jets and the Browns are off of a loss to Pittsburgh. I am going with Cleveland based off the fact they NEED this game. Nick Chubb finally has a breakout game and the Browns get a much needed win.
Winner: Browns 27-23
Denver Broncos (4-4) @ Dallas Cowboys (6-1)
Denver just gave away their best player and Dallas is probably getting their best player back. With or without Dak I expect Dallas to win easily.
Winner: Cowboys 34-16
Houston Texans (1-7) @ Miami Dolphins (1-7)
Coin toss game. Heads Texans or tails Miami. Tails wins. I hope Tua keeps playing well.
Winner: Dolphins 26-16
Atlanta Falcons (3-4) @ New Orleans Saints (5-2)
The Trevor Simien era begins in New Orleans after the season ending ACL tear ended Jameis Winston’s season. This is a divisonal game so I expected it to be close regardless and I’m still going with New Orleans. Alvin Kamara carries them to a close victory.
Winner: Saints 24-21
Las Vegas Raiders (5-2) @ New York Giants (2-6)
Even with the Henry Ruggs situation ongoing and the fact it could cause a distraction, the Giants just suck. Half their receivers are hurt and they aren’t very good anyway. Derek Carr leads them to a win to keep them at the top of the AFC.
Winner: Raiders 23-14
New England Patriots (4-4) @ Carolina Panthers (4-4)
After a huge win against the Chargers I see the Patriots continue to clim up the standings in the AFC as a sputtering Panthers team comes in and could be wihtout QB Sam Darnold. Mac Jones rebounds from his below average performance last week and New England wins.
Winner: Pats 30-17
Buffalo Bills (5-2) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (1-6)
Bills win. Blowout. Easy peasy.
Winner: Bills 38-8
Minnesota Vikings (3-4) @ Baltimore Ravens (5-2)
Ravens fresh off a bye should roll over a Vikings team that just lost to Dallas’s back up quarterback but this team always is in the game. So I do expect Baltimore to win but just not easily. Game winning field goal by Justin Tucker gets Baltimore the dub.
Winner: Ravens 31-28
Sunday Afternoon Football Games
Los Angeles Chargers (4-3) @ Philadelphia Eagles (3-5)
The Chargers have to be pissed after last week and they are going to take it out on the Eagles. I think they get up early and pile on. Chargers roll.
Winner: Chargers 31-16
Arizona Cardinals (7-1) @ San Francisco 49ers (3-4)
Upset alert. With Cardinals QB Kyler Murray injured this is a chance for a team that needs a win to get one. Jimmy G plays great again and leads the 49ers to a huge upset win.
Winner: 49ers 31-23
Kansas City Chiefs (4-4) @ Green Bay Packers (7-1)
No Aaron Rodgers due to COVID. No shot for Green Bay even though Kansas City has looked absolutely horrible this year. In what would have been the battle for king of State Farm Mahomes wins why Rodgers sits at home and watches Jeopardy.
Winner: Chiefs 31-20
Sunday Night Football Game
Tennessee Titans (6-2) @ Los Angles Rams (7-1)
Rams add Von Miller and Tennessee loses Derrick Henry. What do you think is going to happen? Exactly. Going with the red hot Rams.
Winner: Rams 28-14
Monday Night Football Game
Chicago Bears (3-5) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (4-3)
Boring Monday night blowout game. Steelers with ease.
Winner: Steelers 31-10
Bye Week: Tampa Bay, Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, Washington Football Team
